Chiropractic is a hands-on, drug free approach in managing neuromusculoskeletal conditions. It is a natural, safe, and effective approach to better health, based on the scientific fact that your body is a self-regulating and self-healing organism. It is a vitally holistic philosophy and considers that each person contains the innate wisdom they need for healing, well-being and living their full potential. My role as a chiropractor is to restore optimal movement in the spine, maintain a healthy functioning nervous system, and thereby restoring this innate ability of the body. With this, my chiropractic work is always emerging, including new health modalities and possibilities.

Applied Kinesiology (AK)

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a unique health care system that recognizes appropriate body mechanics, biochemistry and emotional health as being fundamental to optimal health.

Applied Kinesiology practitioners use functional manual muscle testing (FMMT) to assess your nervous system function and find the root cause of your health concerns. Treatment and management incorporates the application of structural correction, nutrition, cranio-sacral therapy, meridian therapy, and visceral (organ) therapy.

Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT)

Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) is a comprehensive, gentle and innovative technique of chiropractic. It is so named because of the relationship between the Sacrum (base of the spine) and the Occiput (base of the skull). It focuses on the importance of keeping a good relationship between the occiput and the sacrum, to ensure a good flow of Cerebro-Spinal Fluid (CSF) throughout the nervous system. CSF acts as the circulatory system of the brain and spinal cord, functioning to provide nutrients and removing waste products from the nervous system. Besides that, the stability of the pelvis is also an important component as it forms the foundational support of the human skeleton. The nervous system controls our body, and can only function normally when our structures are balanced and our pelvis is stable.

Dry Needling

Dry needling targets tight muscles and knots to help relieve chronic muscular tension. It is also beneficial to reduce swelling. It functions by improving blood flow to the area of injury to speed up the recovery process.

Kinesiology tape

Kinesiology tape can be beneficial to reduce swelling and inflammation, improves muscle flexibility, and reduces nerve pressure hence reducing pain.
It is also often used by athletes to improve performance.
